THE RIGHT KIND OF GLUE....

So we've all seen them..........beautifully designed cards and invitations that are completely spoiled because the wrong kind of glue has been used.
The wrong kind of glue can cause cards to fall apart, warp, wrinkle etc.
We thought you would appreciate the benefit of our experience. After many years of trial and error, we have found these to be the best:
When Layering Card and Paper:
Many people choose to use double sided tape to layer paper and card. This not only really time consuming but it can also be difficult to get a really clean, flat finish. It is acceptable to use this but we would highly recommend the use of
Craft mount is a spray on glue. The benefits of this is that it provides a really professional finish in a fraction of the time of double sided tape.
When Attaching Embellishments and Decorations:
This often leaves people baffled! We've heard of people trying all sorts of things from superglue to PVA. The quickest and easiest way we have found is to use a hot melt glue gun.

Once you start using one of these, we're sure you will never use anything else. The hotmelt glue gun is an essential part of our toolkit and provides a really strong bond. It's perfect for attaching embellishments and decorations to card or pretty much anything else.
When Attaching Inserts to A folded Card:
If you want to attach a loose leaf insert to the inside of a folded card, we would recommend double sided tape.
When You Want to Create a Raised Finish:
If you want to create a raised (sort of floating) finish, then you will need to look at some kind of foam pads.
These provide a strong bond whilst also raising the design off the background.
These glues should form an essential part of your crafting tool kit.
